I like my atheist billboards. For me, I have a belief system with atheism somewhere at the core of it, and I think atheism often is dismissed at nothing but the lack of belief in anything, rather than a belief in itself. And anyway, Christianity gets plenty of representation in ads and such, why shouldn’t we do the same?

They resurrected the old Whigs’ symbol, the owl, and chiseled out a platform centered on fiscal responsibility, energy independence, education, states’ rights, separation of church and state, and support for veterans. In other words, a Republican head with a Democratic heart.
Sounds pretty good to me. But will it get anywhere? I don’t think it has a chance. Remember Nader?...
